Huge Thank You to ERS and CITE

When a Bridgeport milling machine owned by the Camas School District became available for the robotics team to use, Team 2471 students and mentors still faced a heavy challenge.

Four miles and a steep hill stood between the mill and the robotics shop and the mill weighed over 2500 pounds.

On July 27, two local companies, Excavator Rental Services (ERS) and Columbia Industrial Training & Education (CITE) stepped in to help. ERS provided a heavy duty forklift and CITE trainer, Mike Copsey, volunteered his time to operate it.

Early on a Friday morning in July, the heavy mill was moved from Camas to its new home in the robotics shop.
